Welcome Friends and Family

Late one night while laying in bed trying to fall asleep (and daydreaming about my upcoming trip to what natives call "the stray") I had a frightening thought. How could I possibly inform each and every one of my closest friends and family members about my adventures in Australia. With the time difference and Skype's fluctuant connection it would be difficult, to say the least. Shortly after this long, sleepless night I attended my computer literacy class. The days topic was "Blogging". The teacher reviewed what a blog is, how blogging can be used and how to make one of our own blogs.

While I was supposed to be listening to lecture (oops...) I started this blog so when I am away and you are all missing me (I certainly hope you will, at least a small amount) you can read about what it is that I am doing while in Australia. I will be sure to write about and post pictures of all the fantastic people I meet, and places I go. I'll probably also write some strange things due to nostalgia.......or drunkenness (sorry mom, sorry dad) so be prepared for anything. Expect this blog to be incredibly informal, most likely lacking proper spelling and grammar. I am sorry mother, I know you hate this but I won't have time to make sure every sentence ends with a period and reads correctly.

If you know people that you would like me to share this with, despite the possible profanities and shenanigans I will be posting, feel free to let me know so I can share this with them.

Todays post will end with a cute and cuddly Koala Bear that I will hold and love and call my own. I will. You mark my words.
Peace out home skillets
